أصدر «مجتمع التحقق العربي» بحث جديد مفتوح المصدر، يكشف عبر تحليل بيانات أكثر من ١٥٠ ألف منشور على فيسبوك عن شبكة حسابات موالية للرئيس التونسي تروج سردية الاستعمار الإفريقي، وتقود عملية تحريض ضد المجتمع المدني في تونس.
في بحث «فقط في صفاقس» طور مجتمع التحقق العربي أداة لتجريف وتحليل البيانات من على «فيسبوك» بهدف رسم خريطة تفصيلية لحجم شبكة خطاب الكراهية والمعلومات المضللة، انطلاقًا من تقرير صادر عن منظمة "ديجيتال أكشن" بشأن انتشار نظرية المؤامرة عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في تونس، والتي تروج إلى رواية «خطر الاستعمار الإفريقي في تونس»، وتقود حملات التحريض ضد المجتمع المدني.
كشف «مجتمع التحقق العربي» من خلال تحليل البيانات عن شبكة واسعة تضم مئات الحسابات المؤيدة لقيس سعيد، وأبرز الحسابات والشخصيات الفاعلة في هذه الشبكة، على رأسهم صفحة «تونس اليوم»، التي شاركت أكثر من ٢٠٠٠ منشور في أقل من عام، من صفحات وحسابات ذات توجه سياسي داعم للرئيس التونسي، ومناهض لما أطلقوا عليه «الاستيطان الأفريقي في تونس»، وشخصيات سياسية بارزة مثل سفيان بن الصغير، زعيم الحزب الوطني التونسي، والذي جاء ضمن قائمة أكثر ١٠ حسابات مشاركة من قبل صفحة «تونس اليوم».
كما استخدم «مجتمع التحقق العربي» خلال البحث منهجية «الزحف الشبكي ذو القفزتين» والتي كشفت عن أكثر من ٣٠٠٠ حساب يشكل خريطة التأثير من في المجال العام في تونس، وأجرى فريق مجتمع التحقق العربي تحليلًا نوعيًا لمنشورات تلك الصفحات، لتحديد حجم المحتوى الذي يتضمن معلومات مضللة وخطاب كراهية، ويروج لسردية الاستعمار الأفريقي، والتحريض ضد المجتمع المدني.
وتبين من خلال تحليل البيانات أن صفحة الرئيس التونسي قيس سعيد على «فيسبوك»، كانت المحور الرئيسي لشبكة التأثير في هذه الحملة، بالإضافة إلى تورط وسائل إعلام تونسية في الترويج للسرديات تلك، من خلال النشر ومشاركة المنشورات التي تروج لنظرية المؤامرة من دون معارضة أو انتقاد مما ساهم في عمليات التحريض، وكذلك اتخاذ مدينة صفاقس مركزًا لهذه الأزمة المصطنعة، لكونها مدينة ساحلية ينطلق منها المهاجرون الأفارقة إلى أوروبا.

Arabi Facts Hub has released a new open-source research, revealing a network of accounts loyal to the Tunisian president that promotes the narrative of African colonialism and leads incitement campaigns against civil society in Tunisia. The research, based on an analysis of over 150,000 Facebook posts, uncovers how these accounts shape the public discourse.
In "Just Sfax" research, Arabi Facts Hub developed a data-scraping and analysis tool for Facebook, aiming to create a detailed map of the extensive hate speech and misinformation network. This research was initiated in response to a report by Digital Action, which highlighted the spread of conspiracy theories on social media in Tunisia, particularly those pushing the narrative of an "African colonial threat in Tunisia" and inciting hostility against civil society.
Through data analysis, Arabi Facts Hub identified a vast network of hundreds of pro-Kais Saied accounts, highlighting key influencers within this ecosystem. One of the central actors is "تونس اليوم" Facebook page, which has shared over 2,000 posts in less than a year—mostly from pages and accounts with a strong pro-Saied political stance and an opposition to what they call "African settlement in Tunisia." Notable political figures involved include Soufian Ben Sgher, leader of the Tunisian National Party, who ranks among the top ten most shared accounts on the Tunisia Today page.
The research utilized the "Two-Hop Network Crawling" methodology, which uncovered a network of over 3,000 interconnected accounts influencing Tunisia's public sphere. Arabi Facts Hub conducted a qualitative content analysis of posts from these pages, measuring the volume of misinformation, hate speech, and the promotion of the African colonialism narrative, as well as incitement against civil society groups.
The data analysis further revealed that the official Facebook page of President Kais Saied was a central hub in amplifying this influence network. Additionally, Tunisian media outlets were found to play a role in propagating these misleading narratives by publishing and sharing conspiracy theory content without critique or counterbalance, which contributed to fueling incitement. The city of Sfax was strategically positioned as the focal point of this manufactured crisis, due to its status as a coastal city from which African migrants depart for Europe.
