AFH Program Supporting Digital Tools for Media Organizations and Independent Journalists
As part of our commitment to supporting independent journalism and fostering innovation in the media sector, "Arabi Facts Hub" is pleased to announce the launch of the "AFH Program Supporting Digital Tools for Media Organizations and Independent Journalists".
The program aims to empower media organizations and independent journalists across the Middle East and North Africa by providing access to the latest digital tools that enhance the quality and accuracy of journalistic work. These tools will help improve investigative techniques, fact-checking, audience engagement, and digital security.
The program consists of two tracks:
1. Media Organizations Support: Providing access to paid digital tools that aid journalistic work, enabling high-quality digital investigations. Organizations will receive direct access to these tools.
2. Independent Journalists Support: Offering access to data and information that support digital investigations through the tools available in the program.

- Specialized training in using digital tools for high-quality investigative journalism.
- Advisory support to help media organizations and independent journalists improve their digital strategies and journalistic outputs.

The program provides access to a range of specialized digital tools, including:
- MarineTraffic – Ship tracking
- Meltwater – Social media monitoring and data analysis
- PimEyes – Facial recognition
- Epieos – People search
- FlightRadar24 – Aircraft tracking
- MailChimp – Newsletter management
- Surfshark VPN – Digital security and privacy
- 1Password – Password management
Additional tools may be provided based on the needs of participating organizations.

- Independent media organizations in the Middle East and North Africa engaged in open-source investigations, fact-checking, and data journalism.
- Independent journalists who face challenges accessing advanced digital tools for their investigative work.
📌 How to Apply?
Media organizations and journalists are invited to submit their applications through the application form.
Application Deadline: April 7, 2025.
Candidates will be selected based on criteria such as professional needs, usage plans, and previous investigative work in open-source investigations, fact-checking, and data journalism.
📌 Note: The program provides access to digital tools for one year, with periodic assessments of their usage by media organizations and journalists.
